Summer Cheese with Argentinian Chimmichurri Herbs

Summer Cheese with Argentinian Chimmichurri Herbs

For next summer we have developed a delicious new seasonal cheese: Farmhouse cheese with Chimmichurri herbs. The cheese contains a delicious spice mix including smoked paprika, parsley, thyme, savory and oregano. Chimmichurri is a sauce or marinade that is often used in Argentine cuisine with grilled meat. The name is said to come from Jimmy McCurry, an Irishman who fought for the independence of Argentina in the 19th century. The herbs also work great in our cheese!
